Members should arrive to training at least five minutes before the class starts. If the student is going to be late or are unable to make a class, they should inform the instructor taking the class. For those arriving after the class has started, warm up by yourself before joining the class.

If you attend a class, it is important that you participate with the rest of the group. Show respect and consideration to all your fellow practitioners in every aspect of the practice. Respect their time and social boundaries when training.

If a student cannot continue training because of sickness, injuries, or genuine tiredness, he or she should inform their partner and instructor and then take a rest if necessary and / or be provided with first aid if required.

As for hygiene, ensure clean clothes are worn every practice. Pay close attention to personal hygiene and be sure nails are kept short and filed. Never wear jewellery, watches or other accessories when training. This will help prevent any accidents. It is the responsibility of members to see that the training area is kept clean at all times and free from any hazards.

It is the responsibility of the students to ensure their monthly subscriptions are paid on time. If for some reason they cannot be paid, please inform the instructor and other arrangements can be made.

Classes can vary and are generally structured to be fairly informal. Occasionally an instructor or students from other clubs may be invite to take a class, which may require a more formal setting. In this instance ensure they are welcomed and respected and that appropriate etiquettes are adhered to.

In some classes a traditional Gi will be worn, however in most, suitable casual wear is used in training. Please clarify with the instructor for further details.
